Namkitu's Story

My Tian name is Namkitu, but my friends call me Kit. I have also been called Red, on account of my red hair. If they only knew.
I was raised in Windsong Abbey, where my parents left me in the care of the priests of Shelyn. I was told that they returned home to Tian Xia. Now I must find them, for I have learned a lot of this Western land of Varisia. It will be further than I have ever traveled. I have traveled North to Riddlesport, and South to Magnimar, but Sandpoint has been my home away from the Abbey.
I have been staying more and more in Sandpoint. I eek out a living in the Rusty Dragon, telling stories I have learned. But that is not the only reason I have taken a job there. Ameiko is beauty beyond compare. I try to tell stories that will peak her interest. Rumors have been growing that she may leave soon. Where she goes, I must follow. I hope it will lead me also to my parents.

OOC: In case you have not guessed, Namkitu is in love with Ameiko. He hopes to one day be worthy of her love, and perhaps she will not reject him because he is Kitsune. In his younger days, Namkitu would probably not have been above spying on her while in fox form.
If we are allowed a second trait, I would like to take Charming.
Blessed with good looks, you’ve come to depend on the fact that others find you attractive.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus when you use Bluff or Diplomacy on a character that is (or could be) sexually attracted to you, and a +1 trait bonus to the save DC of any language-dependent spell you cast on such characters or creatures.

2 FYI.
1. You should have 1 trait from the Jade Regent players guide. You may also select 1 trait from the core traits section (so no more than 2 traits total.) Does this answer your trait question?
2. Ameiko starts off restless at the Rusty Dragon, but has no interest in going anywhere. She is born and raised in Sandpoint and that is her home. The events discovered in book 1 cause her to want to investigate the events discovered. (in other words, she has no plans to leave at the start of the adventure, but something changes her mind.)
