Dear Bella

[Wedge]

Just a quick not to tell you what you missed - me!!! Just kidding.

We found a private chapel with an enchanted skull on hanging on a chain. Gale, being Gale, walked in by his lonesome and sliced the chain in half. The door instantly got replaced by a wall of stone. You brother Dimension Door-ed us in and all the air in the room turned to vacuum. But he came to our rescue again teleporting us all out.

Gale proceeded to play practical jokes on Omian using the skull. It was somewhat amusing.

We went back in and searched the all the rooms in the tower. Don't recall much of what we fought but it was pretty minor. We did kill a fast zombie grey render. I'm sure you would have loved to be able to get that thing under your control!

Eventually we found another chapel, this one containing a succubus which proceeded lie her head off about being trapped in the room and wanting us to destroy this alter thingy to free her. And guess what? Omian was buying it! I on the other hand was contemplating homicide (of Omian) and, more practically. demon-cide. So eventually Omian walks into the chapel, instantly gets jumped by a babau demon and starts doing his thing: screaming for help. I step up and - swoosh - kill the babau with one stroke. Gale rushed the succubus and kills her but as soon as she dies she reapers as a huge demon! It's a bit of a conjecture, but I figure she had deal with another demon fro the reincarnation trick. Anyways, I popped a shield, Hicks game greater heroism, and Gale and I killed the big bad without much trouble. I guess the succubus only had one reincarnation going for her cause that was that. We looted the place and went back to Bard's Gate.

I have some ideas for the love potion we found. Which do you think would be funnier - have Omian fall in love with Large Marge or have Large Marge fall in love with Omian? The immovable rod might be funny too. I've been using it to annoy Gale.

Hope you're back soon. I miss your eye rolling and 'whatever-s' as much as your cooking. Almost.

Wedge

We all really missed you this time around - we got ambushed by like a zillion flesh-men, about half-dozen undead knights of some sort, and four or so cloud giant skeletons. You would have loved it - taken control of one of the giants and have him put the smack on his buddies!

Instead, I told Gale to protect Omian, so he promptly charged the flesh-men archers leaving our left flank exposed as well as putting himself out of range or heal and buff spells. You brother was being pincushioned by the archers - they were focusing on lightly armed casters I guess but managed to put up a wall of ice to slow down the big guys bearing down on us from the right. I dimension door-ed everyone but Gale around the corner which put us out of range from half the bad guys and then we went to town on them.

Gale did an impressive job taking down a bunch of knights and giants all by himself in the middle of the field but even he couldn't take the punishment for ever and would have died if Omian hadn't gotten a breath of life into him in time.

After clearing the platform we entered the main tower. Gale, as usual, taking the lead by going in the opposite direction from what the party decided. We followed him through the main doors which went into a trap room - a pit with ju-ju zombies spearing anyone trying to cross from behind panels. We took care of them without much trouble. The only other monsters on this level were some invisible skeletons and they got killed. By us :-)

That's it so far. Hope you're back with us soon - I'll try to save some undead for you to control but can't promise I'll succeed.

Before teleporting back to The Camp, Hicks will inform the group that he has heard from Bella that she has finished the trials. Because of her experiences in the desolation she easily passed. As a result she was offered a pretty prestigious teaching position with their necromancer group. She will be the youngest person to ever hold a teaching position there.

She went to the camp to say goodbye to the group. She asked Hicks to babysit the group a while longer.

As the group walks into the inn back at the camp, she is there waiting. Her look has changed (again). She now has all black hair with black lip stick and black eyeliner. All black clothing as well. (will post a picture if the group wants).

"No crying Wedge" she says. "But before I go I think I still owe you that kiss for lending me the money. You can have it before I go if you want" she says with her arms crossed.

[Specs]

Gale and his sister both embrace the dark little mistress in a hug. Gale says "Was a pleasure to meet you Little Ms. Sunshine, even if for a short while. If ever you need assistance after this forray me and my sister are on don't hesitate to call." His sister Sylph smiles a serene smile as her eyes shimmer and speaks as well "While i have not spent as much time with you as my dear brother has, I too have enjoyed your company in town Ms. Bella. I especially enjoy your dark humor, even if my lunkhead of a brother is a little too dense to pick up on it sometimes," she says with a light chuckle. "Have this small token of our friendship so that we may keep in touch," she tells Bella while handing her a small message stone on a bracelet with the words S and G inc on it. "As long as we're on the same plane of existence it can send short messages to either my brother or I should you need help or if you just wanna have a friendly chat. Be well and good luck on your teachings." She gives Bella a hug and a kiss on each cheek.

[Bella]

"I'm surprised Wedge didn't push you out of the way to get to me" she says hugging back. "If he's that slow. Whatever. his loss." she says with a wry smile.

[Wedge]

"I was just letting you warm up," says Wedge as he steps, takes Bella in to his strong yet awkward arms and kisses her with the passion of a thousand suns and a several moons.

[Bella]

Before that happens, wedge activates her joke and her spell goes off (Kind of like a contingency spell so she did not cast it here.). Her skin starts to rot away and maggots start wiggling out of her flesh. The stench of the grave seeps from her body.

Everyone in the room needs to make a will save (dc 21). The dice roller is just below the send button.

As Wedge looks at her she laughs and says, "gimmie some sugar, baby."

Knowing Omian's unease around her at times, she will pick off a maggot and flick it at him, laughing hysterically.

"Hahaha. And you're planning to teach? You'll be bored within a week. Probably start staging zombie fights behind the Chem building... Actually that sound like a good idea. That could be our Thursday night entertainment at the Inn. If you want to set it up, we can split the take."

Wedge gives Bella a kiss on the cheek.

"Eyew. Smells like Gale's socks."

[Bella]

"Pah-lease." she says with a laugh. I would think you know me better than that. They were like. 'Bella your so awesome and amazing. Can you teach our kids to be as awesome and amazing as you?' And I was like 'Hells to the NO!' I would rather face an undead hoard than teach kids. Kids are like stealth zombies. The eat your intelligence without you realizing it. At least real zombies are up front about wanting to destroy you. Come on boys. That was all a joke. Have I got my pet undead dragon yet? I can't leave the desolation until I at least have that" she says with a wink.

"Me teach?... whatever." she says rolling her eyes.

[Wedge]

"Then what was all that (mimics Hicks voice, poorly) ' she was offered a pretty prestigious teaching position with their necromancer group. She will be the youngest person to ever hold a teaching position there.' WTF?"

[Bella]

"They did offer." she says with a snort. "I turned them down. I asked him to play along."

He shrugs in the background.

"I have to make a grand entrance" she says as her flesh returns to normal.

[Wedge]

"Whatevs. If things get rough and you need some help or someone to make sweet, sweet love to then look me up."

With that Wedge turns away, grabs a bottle of the strongest alcohol with in reach and goes to his room.

[Bella]

He forgot his lotion...

In his room, no one can hear him ... 'ulp ... cry.

Bella is more than happy to cook up a meal if you want to join. I emailed travis some new spells so hopefully she will have some new tricks this weekend as well (if he approves them.)
